SUBMISSION TO THE COMMITTEE ON THE ELIMINATION OF RACIAL DISCRIMINATION - 113th session: 23-08-2024
Race Equality Network has submitted a report to the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination‘s 113th Session (5-23 August 2024). REN’s report aims to highlight a variety of issues that relate to racial inequalities and provides recommendations to the UK Government based on the work carried out by REN and wider research. From health inequalities to the discriminatory nature of the Prevent strategy, it is evident that the United Kingdom is in breach of numerous articles of ICERD such as Article 5 and Article 2.
